Does the job but takes up 2 inches of lap space.
Looks great and keeps my stuff from sitting in still water or falling in the tub. However, I like to lie on the claw foot of the tub and lose about 2 inches of knee room as a result. This is especially important when I switch between lying and sitting. It's even worse for my husband. I'd love to buy a wooden bathtub shelf because 1) it's eco-friendly and 2) it doesn't sacrifice legroom.
