Not thrilled with how they attached the face mask piece; Otherwise it's fine

This lens hood is fine, but I'm not sure how I feel about how they handled the part that holds the filters. They basically have a fleece hood with a pair of devil horns on top, and on the inside is this flat piece sewn in with the mouth graphic facing out and the sleeve to hold the filters (my kit had two filters, not four). inner. It's sewn on to the sides of the hood about halfway down, meaning you can wear this piece in front of your face to use as a mask, or you can wear it behind your head. It is not attached to the hood from above or below, only from two sides. Every time you want to wear this you have to adjust this almost free-flowing piece of fabric so that you can put the hood on and you have to make sure it doesn't get tangled at all. I find that a bit annoying. I wish they would pin it in place so you can easily put the hood on and off, be it a tie on hood with a face mask which seems good because it's meant to warn when it's cold, so it is it's like wearing a hat and scarf in one, or take it off with velcro or buttons, but fasten it on three sides, not two. Apart from that everything is alright. I was able to put it on my big head even though it was tight. Suitable for every child's head.

Pros
  • Cold weather
Cons
  • Scarce manual
