I have this set and I really like this crockery. They are chip resistant and can be used in the oven, microwave and freezer. But for me, the stone chip resistance was the most important feature as I don't wash dishes very carefully. They are cream colored which is very pretty. The food looks great. The harness has a little lip which I like too. Most of the time, turning sharply leaves the food on the plate, or if my knife slips while slicing, it leaves a little lip. They are plain and simple, but that gives them a touch of elegance. Plus, they look good with anything, even on a white and white tablecloth. These plates are long and ovate. It is ideal for serving all dishes. I actually bought these plates from Revain to increase the number of serving trays. Thanks to their long shape, they are easy to lay out on a buffet table or on a table. This is a shape that works well and saves desk space.
