These are officially the clearest sounding headphones I've ever heard! I'm not saying this because the highs and lows sound blah blah blah (sound good) but because my wife didn't check the side pocket of my cargo shorts (don't judge me) and the headphones were washed in warm water. and drying on a full cycle. At first I was disappointed and thought it was a loss, but since I use a pair of cheap $20 "waterproof" headphones when I work out, I wasn't that upset. Something like: don't lend money to family or friends unless you're willing to lose it, don't take $200 headphones to the gym unless you're okay with them being stolen, damaged or get lost. I've had others fail only from sweat on one of the channels after several months of training. To my surprise, they are still in perfect condition after being soaked in water for a long time and heated in the tumble dryer. They powered up with no noticeable difference in sound quality, and battery life seems to be the same (15 hours) at around three weeks. Definitely recommend!
