Review on Transparent mCover Hard Shell Case for 13.5-inch Microsoft Surface Laptop 1/2/3 with Alcantara Keyboard - NOT Compatible with Metal Type Keyboard Version by Ardy Espinoza

I've been using this for quite some time until recently I had an issue where my surface laptop would randomly shut down while in use. It turned out that the battery in the laptop was not recognized depending on how I moved the laptop. This was a VERY strange issue and very concerning, especially since it was in the last week. I always take good care of my laptop and after following some troubleshooting steps from Microsoft support, my laptop was still randomly shutting down. Until I took that shitty suitcase off! Suddenly my laptop stopped randomly turning off and I double checked everything! I don't know if it was the pressure caused by the fall that caused me to have these issues, but I see now that it caused permanent cosmetic damage to the Alacantra fabric as mentioned in some other reviews. TL; DR. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK unless you want to cosmetically damage your laptop AND its insides! UPDATE: Had to send my laptop in for repairs and without the extended warranty my university gave me, I would have had to pay over $450 for the repair. And that during the semester.
