With the barber shops closed I needed something to get rid of my facial hair. This is my first face shaver since I have been waxing for many years. Since I've never had one, I can't compare it to other razors. First, it's painless (unlike waxing). He's also very quiet. When I first used it it didn't seem to remove all the hair, especially on my chin. I just gave it up because I didn't know how to use it yet. As I continued to use it, I got better at applying more pressure to get it closer. Shortly after using it I noticed my upper lip was starting to itch a bit and I think I got a little rash (not that you could see it but I could feel it). It went away after a day or two and didn't seem to come back. What doesn't bother me is that it doesn't seem to get very close, especially on the chin, even when I press hard. And since it doesn't get as close as you'd like, it grows back pretty quickly. The next day I feel the protrusions. The big question is will I continue to use this once I can start waxing again, I think I will. As I said, it's painless and cheaper than waxing. I think I just need to learn how to use it better than before.
