Good quality product to replace a much cheaper set I bought about 10 years ago. They do everything a tray table should do but I feel like I paid too much for what they are. We kept them because honestly I could have bought more and who knows I might not have found a better deal. I gave these 4 stars as they seem to be of good quality, time will tell. Unpacking is a bit of a hassle as you can scratch the wood if you aren't careful but the upside is that they are well packaged/secured for shipping so there is no downside, just be careful when unpacking. May 2020: Five years later and we still have tray tables. They served us well in various functions and even as bedside tables for over a year until the real ones came along. This is probably obvious but they don't like water/humidity for too long so wipe up any spilled water or it will soak and the wood underneath will swell and not look good. This is the user's fault, IMO, though, so isn't a mark against tray tables.
