I wanted a tray table that was very strong and sturdy and easy to fold up and put away. I didn't want a set of four. This set of two is perfect for me. First thing, they were good to go out of the box, no assembly needed. Second, they are a perfect size, just big enough for my dinner or my laptop, and strong enough for both. Third, they fold away perfectly. I have one in my living room and one in my bedroom and they take up such a small space that they can store anywhere. I got the matte black finish. I didn't care what they looked liked; I only wanted to be sure they would not collapse on me. This was one of my best purchases ever.
