I bought this furniture mover set specifically to move a large armoire in my bedroom. Unfortunately the armoire was solid all the way around the bottom with no gap so I couldn’t maneuver the lifter underneath it no matter how I tried. You’d need another person to tip it slightly to get underneath it and that defeats the purpose of being able to move it by yourself.I tested the set on a couple pieces of living room furniture—namely a large arm chair and sofa. It worked as it should and I was able to move the wheels under the feet easily. They didn’t roll well on carpet however. As long as the thing you want to move has a small gap at the base like most large appliances do, you can use this set to move it. Although there are no instructions, you can easily figure out how to use the parts. The heightening pads are a great idea and allow you to get the lifter tool under pieces that have bigger gaps at the bottom. The only assembly required is fastening the screw into the lifter arm. The four mini dollies are sturdy and the wheels move easily. They probably could handle close to five hundred pounds if the weight was divided evenly amongst them. All in all, it’s a pretty good product. I will update if my opinion changes.
