Stories about poor tolerances on this adapter are not true. I would compare this to Bubba drilling a few holes with his garage press and using a 12 inch ruler to measure. I bought it despite the bad reviews because I had no other choice. My Grant hub had a base that was too big and the Grant wheel didn't fit my Momo hub. The hole pattern did not match the hub or the impeller perfectly. Because of this, the screws that came with it were oversized and completely unusable. Luckily I had a few thinner head screws that barely worked. I gave them a three because it only took me about an hour to get them working on my machine and I didn't need to edit them further to make them work, but it totally drew my attention to Grant's products. I will probably never buy a Grant steering wheel again.
