I ordered these at the beginning of summer as a good casual shoe for my 7 year old. We bike and walk everywhere so flip flops are not a safe everyday option and sneakers are too hot. My son liked them straight away. I have ordered him the same shoes as me in the past but given the speed at which he is growing out of the shoe I was looking for a cheaper option that would hold up well. I'm so glad I did because right after my son started wearing them I noticed he had a growth spurt and was reaching the hem of the shoe. He loves them so much that he has tried to prove that they are still fit. I went ahead and ordered the next size up and he was delighted when they arrived. They look good even though he curses them, he likes velcro as the laces slow him down and he never complains that his legs are tired or sore. Great price and my child is happy. win win
