I really like these. They are beautiful and simple. I have silver gauges of half an inch and they look very good in a second or third piercing without being "too big" jewelry. They also look good in my cartilage piercing. However, they did irritate my ears quite a bit after wearing them for a day or two. When I took them out, one of them was already tarnished, although it hadn't been worn in the shower or even exposed to water. I don't believe it's real sterling silver, although the back of the star is stamped 925. For the price, though, it's not that big of a deal. Unless you have sensitive ears.
