It connects easily, I didn't even read the instructions. He downloaded the drivers (or whatever he needed) from the internet without any action on my part. It even has an adapter for my monitor cable. The easiest way for me to use it, for example, is to use two screens/monitors. and the direct connection to my printer/scanner/fax is fantastic. I don't see any quality issues, but again, I'm not a gamer or a computer guru. I've only been using it for a few weeks but so far so good!
