When I first received these I was pretty excited to decorate my outdoor Christmas trees. I loved that they were battery operated as this gives me the ability to use and store them as needed! Now after a few weeks of using the lights I am finding that it’s eating through batteries very quickly. I can put 3 brand new Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries in and just after 8 hours of run time the lights are very dim until I put another 3 brand new batteries in. This is why I only rated it a one star for value for money because it’s eating through expensive batteries like nothing. They are very easy to use and the timer function is great. I just wish they didn’t eat through so many batteries that fast. Especially considering they are led lights which are supposed to use less energy/power drain from batteries. I don’t know if all BrizLabs battery operated lights do this or it’s just the two sets I purchased are just defective. Either way I am not that happy with this purchase. As you see in the images I even tried using a different brand of batteries to see if that was causing the problem but it was not. No matter the brand of battery after the timer turns the lights off by the next night I am having to replace the batteries.
