This is a thin knit, soft, light and warm enough for the moment. However, it's definitely on the small side. A short men's suit usually fits me well, but in order for the bottom of this set to sit properly at the waist and crotch and allow enough play for my knees to bend comfortably, I have to pull it up so the cuffs are three or four inches above my ankles. . I probably have above average legs for my size, but the pants still feel too short for the typical wearer of a small size. My second complaint is that they don't have a bow tie, an odd omission for menswear that will make life uncomfortable, especially if the person is outside in, say, Canadian winters, as I might be. Besides the size, I appreciate the light weight and smooth texture. I will not be returning this set but if I buy another one it will definitely be a size larger.
