These blades basically work just as well as the OEM blades for my Gillette Fusion SJW and I would even say the smear strip is much better. However, the strip is bulky and it is difficult to bring the razor directly to your nose. You can do it, but if you press too hard or whatever, you could cut off your upper lip. Love them and will continue to buy them from Gillette HQ in place of the original soy bua blades.
