My daughter LOVES this dress. She usually wears sweatpants and shorts. After putting it on, she wouldn't take it off, saying that she felt so beautiful in it. The waist suits her pretty well as a teenager and there's no need to worry when potential bra lines come up. The dress has a lining, but thin - good for warm weather. Good quality zippers considering the price. With tights and a nice sweater, this might be appropriate for colder climates. I'm trying to find another simple, but relatively plain, flared or skater dress that she will be happy to wear as well.
