First of all, I've been using cooling pads on my laptops for almost 15 years. Aside from that, I've been using it for a few months now and it has to be the best cooling pad I've ever used. Cooling pads have come a long way since I first started using them. This special cooling pad allows you to adjust the fan speed from off to maximum. The fans are illuminated by red LEDs that cannot be turned off while the fans are on. I don't really care because they go well with my backlit keyboard. The fans draw air from the bottom of the panel and direct the air to the bottom of the laptop. For convenience, there is an additional USB port that replaces the one used by the laptop's power cord. This has to be the best USB power cable I have ever had as it is braided and feels strong/thick. I've broken many plastic/rubber cables over the years, requiring me to repair the cables or even the cooling pads myself. A quality of life added to this mat that I've never had before is a tab that reclines and holds the laptop on the mat and prevents it from sliding off. With previous pads, it was very difficult to keep the laptop from sliding off. The only issue I've had with this stand is that the rubber feet on the bottom covering the screws have come loose, which has happened with every cooling pad I've ever had. So if you're wondering if this cooling pad is for you, it has worked great for me and keeps my laptop cool while gaming, and I believe it will do the same for you.
