Versatile and improves shifting and braking
I used this as a cable guide when I completely replaced the cable on an internally routed bike. I also used this as a noodle to attach my cables to the bottom bracket access panel. I didn't have to buy a super expensive internal routing tool. It did the job and some. Also makes switching clear.
