Anyway, the monitor works fine. Video works well day and night. In fact, I was surprised at how well the night vision works. You can control the camera from the monitor device if you need to change the angle of view remotely. The range is surprisingly good. I live in an old building and the internet can't even get into my hallway without additional network routers, but this device works throughout the house with no problems. The downside is the poor image quality. Enough to see what's going on, but you won't get HD quality with this thing. More expensive versions have companion apps and cloud recording, streaming capabilities etc so you don't get any of that with this device but for a basic baby monitor cam it works well.
