I haven't had Turkish coffee for a long time and I wanted to do it right, with the right pot and all. I found a few and looked at many descriptions to compare and decide what I want. realized the food had to be canned as I wanted it to be safe and not just decorative. I also decided I needed something permanent so I chose 2mm thickness instead of 1mm thickness. Also, choose a wooden handle instead of a metal handle to avoid burning yourself when you pick it up! And I wanted *beautiful*, so I wanted a nice engraving. After saving many lists and then going through the elimination process, I settled on this one. And I'm very glad I took the time to shop! The thing is really beautiful. Engraving isn't just a scratch on the surface, it's a beautiful depth. The finish is amazing and I know I will have to use a copper cleaner to keep it that way as the copper will oxidize but I am willing to do so. some nice deposits to dress it up. It's a good weight, it's not flimsy. The size is good, allowing me to cook enough to serve one or two guests (depending on the size of your cups. I'll use the small, traditional ones). Not only would I buy this item again, I would also recommend it to my friends.
