Update: Support contacted an issue with the original case and confirmed that the sleep/wake function is not supported with the magnetic closure. I've seen others on the Apple support forums complaining that it appears Apple has changed the location of the magnetic sensor, which I can only assume is to boost sales of their own cases. I raised my rating from 1 star to 4 for their good customer support. I still spent hours troubleshooting, including visiting the local Apple Store, which could have been avoided with proper testing before an existing product was certified as compatible with the newly released iPad model. However, now I can recommend a redesigned case. The cutout for the TouchID power button also seems to be better. (Original review) Does not support sleep/wake function with lid closed and open. Not properly designed for iPad Air 4. I went to my local Apple Store and thought my new iPad was broken. My iPad worked great with the OEM Apple Smart Cover. The cutout for the power button also seems to be a bit small. If you don't care about the sleep/wake function, you can use the case. I ordered my iPad online to avoid a trip to the mall and ended up needing to make sure my iPad worked. Not happy that the manufacturer claims it's designed specifically for the iPad Air 4.
