. Have been using it for a few months now and works pretty well although my dog is getting used to it and it doesn't work as well as it did when it first started. But overall I was satisfied. It's not the collar's fault that my dog is starting to ignore it. I didn't want anything with teeth that could hurt my dog, so that seemed like a good idea. Battery life is really good, especially if you remove the collar when your dog is resting indoors and turn it off. We didn't have to charge it for weeks or months when we first got it. We've really started letting her have it all the time and should probably charge it every 1.5-2 weeks of constant use (we take it off and turn it off at night). Update: After a few months my dog seems to ignore the collar but I think it helped teach her not to bark as much. We've also used treats and commands to train them, so I think it's still a great tool for additional learning. You can't expect to just use the collar without training and continue to get results in the long run. My neighbor even said that everything we made worked perfectly and he no longer notices barking dogs. The battery lasts a long time, especially if you remove it and turn it off when not in use, and also at night when the dog is sleeping.
