Review on Sleepwarmer Automatic King Blanket Linen by Tanya Ward

Revainrating 2 out of 5

defect out of the box. 2nd time was a spell.

2nd edit: While the manufacturer did an excellent job of replacing this comforter when it failed, I've had to go to them too many times for a warranty replacement. Literally every year I had to turn in a blanket for replacement. It broke at the end of winter, or if it worked when we put it away for a year, it didn't work when we took it out of the closet in the fall. After the 2nd or 3rd exchange they even upgraded me to a nicer model because it was out of stock. Unfortunately, the more successful model did not work as reliably as the original. I believe it had a 5 year guarantee and during that time I have changed at least 5 duvets. Worst of all, every time it failed I had to spend $15-$20 to send it back to the manufacturer so in the long run I ended up spending a lot more on postage than buying the blanket in the first place. EDIT: The replacement blanket failed before the end of winter, but outside of Revane's return period. Now I need to have time to send it to the manufacturer for warranty replacement at my own expense. I would NOT recommend this product based on my experience. I ordered this blanket for my son's birthday but when he went to bed that night he had to go without it. Immediately after unpacking, the controller was defective. Luckily Amazon cares a lot about the customer and sent me a new one before I even sent the first one back. The second duvet (so far) works great and my son loves his warm bed at night. However I would be very cautious about purchasing this item as it appears I am not the only one who has had issues with this item.
