Not really. My son and I play Skylander on it. Two wired controllers and a portal. Sometimes he mixes controllers, so mine says I'm the first player, but actually I'm the second player. Sometimes it's a bit confusing. Most of the time it works fine. I have never used it as a card reader and never plan to use it, just bought it for more USB ports.
