I have a 2006 VTX1300c and my driver's side mirror started to creep down when I was driving over 50 mph. No matter how much I feigned the mother, she kept turning. Instead of racking my brains while driving to see what was behind me, I looked for a replacement. Because OEM originals are no longer available (you can find used mirrors on ebay). I saw these MZS motorcycle mirrors for a great price, mostly great reviews, so I gave them a try. I'm glad I did. The first thing you need to know is if they are made of plastic. Not the cheap flimsy plastic of many Chinese imports, but plastic nonetheless. However, the important parts are metal and weigh more than my original mirrors overall. The connection to the bike is via an unusually shaped bolt with a spring, two washers and a lock nut, which is very easy to assemble. It was a bit difficult to connect the lock nut at first. Remember that you need to compress the spring to make a full connection. You will need a set of metric wrenches and sockets. The kit comes with 4 different sizes of mounting bolts, so you can mount it on most bikes. The mirrors are fully adjustable and have a great design. The mirror is big! I was afraid the surface of the mirror would be tiny but don't worry. They aren't chrome plated but they don't ruin the look of my bike. In fact, they match my disguise perfectly. If you value good quality, you can't go wrong at these prices. There are no instructions in the packaging. They are included in the list. A little cumbersome, but look carefully at the photo and there will be no problems. Much luck!
