I used these on rugs to cut a wall to wall bathroom rug out of a large piece of rug. You can please ignore the splendor of the bathroom rug; what matters is how well it worked. This clipper was powerful enough to deal with that heavy brace and lint. It was stopped by the carpet fibers, but after some of those fibers were removed, the clippers regained power. It cuts cardboard in one fluid motion. I have NOT used them on regular paper so I don't know how it will cut through something thin. I charge after use, and even after two months, the charge is enough to cut the last project.
