Review on Children's smart watch HUAWEI Watch Kids 4 Pro Wi-Fi, blue by Janis Riekstins ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I can't believe I paid for it, the quality is disgusting.

The Huawei Care app is useless. Most of the houses are not on the map - for example, the school that my daughter goes to and the house where we live is not marked on the map, while "Pyaterochka" in our house is marked and, apparently, is located right on the street. Despite the fact that all measures have been taken to ensure the continuous operation of the application - it still works poorly on all smartphones and notifications from the child often come with a lag, for example the next day - we can say that there is no application, which means that the functionality of the watch is purely limited calls from a sim card - that's it. Even the simplest functions, such as measuring steps or heart rate, are not implemented in the watch - only calls. At the same time, they are very expensive for such a modest functionality. Yes, of course, you can’t listen to the child (quiet call function). I thought that such a serious company as huawei would be able to make competent children's watches, especially for such a price tag - I was very mistaken. These watches do not have any advantages compared to Chinese no-names for 3-4k, rather the opposite. Money I think is wasted

Pros
  • They work, the battery lasts for two days, the plastic is of high quality.
Cons
  • 1. Huge on a child's hand (and on an adult too) 2. Terrible app. It is completely useless. 3. The built-in photo-video camera is also terrible - we can assume that it does not exist. 4. Despite the presence of gps, the watch does not know how to show the route traveled, measure the distance or count at least steps. 5. Connecting the watch to the phones of relatives was another quest. I'm a fairly advanced user, but still suffered fairly.
