I have bad varicous veins and had several operations to remove or close veins. I have many different kinds of compressions socks so I feel I am a good judge for these products. These socks are easy to get on and off, there is plenty of toe room and they come up to my knees (I'm 5'7"). I can't stand high compression socks and they don't seem to make my legs feel any better. These socks are not too tight and hug my legs with comfort. They get me to the end of the day without my legs being sore. In fact, if I don't wear them I don't have as active of a day. I have one brand that is way more expensive that I also like for winter because it is heavy and warmer but, for the money these are great. I just ordered my daughter a set also.
