These bulbs are very bright. I have replaced a 100 watt incandescent bulb and I estimate it is 20% brighter. They only consume 13.5W compared to some other 100W LED bulbs that consume 14-15W. I'm not sure about the shelf life as I've only had the pears for a short time. But they seem solid and so bright.
