I wanted a mirror with light but my husband didn't want it. I won but I made a mistake. The light was only bright for the first second, after that it got a little dimmer. The batteries ran out about every month, and eventually one day the side of the magnifier that had the batteries behind just fell onto the tiled floor and broke. I replaced it with an unlit mirror. On the positive side both mirrors were fine and the swingarm worked as expected. The light was great for a second every time I turned it on. Unfortunately, I usually needed light for more than a second.
