I've paid more for a Delco AC pump because the quality has always been good. In this case, I was disappointed that the electrical connector on the pump didn't match the socket on the vehicle. The original pump connector had keyings that ensured the pins would fit together perfectly, while the pins in Delco's replacement AC pump were detached, brittle and easily bent from not fitting in the socket. Reservoir I found it almost impossible to make an electrical connection without bending the contacts. So I had to remove the pump, carefully straighten the bent pins, then line them up and put them into the socket, then put the pump back into the reservoir. In my case, I also replaced the tank, so it made sense to install the pump before installing the tank. If you're just replacing the pump, you'll save time and avoid potential damage to the pins by carefully plugging in the power cord before inserting the pump into the tank. Otherwise the pump works as described.
