I have bought 6 of these belts (from both major manufacturers) and am very disappointed in all of them. Ratchets are a good idea, but in practice they all fail over time. The problem is that if you tighten it in its normal place every day, the nylon (plastic) notch on the ratchet will loosen up. Eventually this will cause the belt to slip out of the groove. Given the high cost of these belts, this is unacceptable. They refuse to create a stronger structure. Therefore I cannot recommend you to buy these belts. You spend money on a nice belt that doesn't work.
