Bought for our youngest child for Princes/Princesses Day and it was a hit! No matter how happy he was! Hehe *** That's pretty much what you would expect at $14.74. Not very cheap but definitely a pretty good kids costume / imaginary quality of clothes. . It's not too long and not too short, and he liked it, and since it wasn't like a toy sword or anything like a toy weapon, I didn't get a call from the school for being hit or hit. . ^_*** We also added a unique jeweled gold plastic royal crown ($6.98 at Revain with shipping) to his costume because time was a factor and it was my only choice. I regret how cheaply made and how the crown looks as the robe is good enough to wear with a very nice crown without ruining the look of the robe. *** I found the tie a bit flimsy and wish I could add a few stitches to connect it to the robe just because I've been raising boys for 20 years and I totally understand how rough boys can be in clothes and especially in suits; However, the ties held up very well for several days (he and his buddies wore a robe while playing here at the house. :) *** This royal robe also pairs well with a full child suit if that is your plan. ! It's really pretty and at a great price! ***Since it was a Spirit Day dress in elementary school I didn't feel the need to buy a top, pants and boots to complete the costume but based on the outfit we put together (basically accessories only) and how good is the robe. I RECOMMEND this red king/queen robe! With suit price fluctuations - I hope this has helped you decide if this robe is you or not!
