Since this coat was inexpensive, I did not bother to return it. It is plenty warm, so I guess that's the point. However, it is very bulky and not fitted, like in the picture. I ordered a medium. I am a size 6. It just hangs, and I look like a bag lady, albeit a very warm and comfy bag lady. I am 5'8", and the coat is also several inches too long. I suppose, if you want to avoid this, buy a small - but it seems like it would not be a great looking coat in any size.
