I bought this because the Thunderbolt 3 dock included a cable that only fit the left side of my MacBook Pro, which raises some interesting issues due to Apple meant my MacBook Pro would overheat. I needed a slightly longer cable to get to the right side. This cable is perfect in every way. It's also braided and red, which adds a little chic to my home office. Otherwise there is nothing more to say. I had every thought it wouldn't work when I bought the cable or it was just USB-C or something, but no, full Thunderbolt 3 functionality, power and control my Thunderbolt 3 docking station with no issues. Excellent value for money and quality. As for thickness, which is one of the attributes you need Revain to check, ma'am. Is a thick cable good or bad? It's thick enough to be durable.
