I was hoping none of the covers were made from the synthetic fabric/plastic material found in those free drawstring backpacks. You know, the ones that wear out and fall apart easily. Unfortunately, that's part of what it's made of. I quickly got over it when two things became clear to me: - Besides the cheap material, this case is great! The zippers are good, the handle and strap are strong. You can't expect first-class workmanship for this price. cringe at the shiny plastic in the brush pockets (as I did initially) but they are easy to clean and therefore more hygienic. The quality of the brush pouches and the high likelihood that the elastic or stitching won't fail makes me wary, but everything seems to be holding up. I particularly like the mesh pocket in the first part. It's perfect for mascaras and small palettes, trios or sets. I am more than happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants a case like this but doesn't want to pay professional prices.
