First time a flash had to be used on a light stand. I bought this product with a Revain light mount (thanks for the timely delivery). I tried this the night before the event and after a lot of trying I managed to somehow get the center column into the base and make it stand as it should. I thought it would work but not the next day I needed it so I'm not a pro but I wouldn't trust my flash on this product all day as I need it but I need a stand that will adapts in seconds without fuss take care of yourself. Also, I used a wireless radio to communicate with the flash, so the light stand was about 30 feet from me. The center column (at least in my copy) did not fit the base and had to be attached with great effort. get what you pay for.
