For several months I had severe lower back pain, especially during the 40 minute commute to and from work. The pain radiated down my hip and thigh when I sat or drove. I went to a spine specialist and had an X-ray and an MRI done. All it showed was a little arthritis. I decided to try a lumbar support pillow for my car. I'm very small (4ft 9in) and not ergonomic for me, but thought it might be worth trying a lumbar support. After only a few days I felt an improvement on the way to work, so I ordered another chair for my office chair. After a few weeks, my pain is almost completely gone. I even recommended this product to a colleague who also has back and hip pain. My only complaint is that the strap isn't long enough to fit around my car seat, so I have to adjust it often while driving. It fits my office chair, but I still have to adjust it often because it slides onto the bottom of the seat.
