This is my third contour and second neck pillow and it is the most comfortable yet supportive pillow. Give my neck the right support which causes creases and neck pain in the mornings. So I got my first contour pillow and it has made my sleep and the mornings after that much better. But it was uncomfortable lying on my back, which I often did before bed. So I have a neck pillow with a depression in the middle that allows your spine to relax when you're on your back, but when you roll over the high angles still support your neck. However, it still felt like a thick foam in the middle, which is supportive but not very comfortable when awake, so I had to try it when I saw it. It was compressed into a tube shape and when it was released from the plastic cap it expanded to its full size. The average white area is much softer than my last pillow, making the waking hours before and after sleep that much more comfortable. The button holding the center is not noticeable on the pillowcase but adds softness and airiness. If I have any complaints it's sometimes difficult to remember which side I prefer because they look the same but one side is much more supportive than the other (it's the larger side when viewed from the side ). And if there are any improvements, it might be nice to have an even softer layer of filling in the middle, but this pillow has the best combination of support and comfort I've ever used.
