Review on πŸ•οΈ WolfWise Privacy Shower Tent - Portable Outdoor Sun Shelter for Camping, Toilet, Changing, Dressing Room by Rob Allen

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I saw one where someone mentioned that this tent was good, but a friend found a similar product that was .

I've been looking for a swim tent for a long time because I don't like it when it's hot and sweaty even when I'm camping. This is the highest rated tent on Revain and doesn't cost an arm or a leg so it went into my shopping cart. Reading some reviews I saw one where someone mentioned this tent as good but a friend found a similar product that was better, the Megellan Portable Utility Tent. I decided to order it instead as it was the same price but seemed more solid in construction. Unfortunately I bought it at the last minute and didn't think it would get to me in time so I ordered it as a backup. Instead, both were delivered the same day, allowing me to compare both "shower tents" and conclude that this product is definitely the worst of the two. First of all it's tiny, I'm a 5'4,110 girl (I'm writing this from my friend's account) and I felt claustrophobic about it. The Megellan tent is much wider and taller. I also feel that the dark blue enhances the feeling of claustrophobia. Other cons: - There is only one storage pocket while Magellan brings 3 pockets and has hanging bars for your towels. - No rain cover to protect the tent. Magellan has one. Not as strong because there are no internal bars. Magellan is very durable and can withstand stronger winds. The bottom is not fixed, which means you can easily get dirt on it if you're not careful. There is no mesh drainage system to drain water. Megellane has both of these properties. Opening wings have no mosquito net. Magellan does. The biggest problem is that you have nowhere to hang the shower. The advantages of this tent for me are the carry bag and that's about it. I think it could work as a bath tent but it doesn't stack with any other real shower tent. I posted pictures of both for comparison.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires power outlet
