I was skeptical about buying these bags at first. I was afraid that my food would spoil quickly and go bad in the wash. These bags definitely exceeded all expectations. So far I've kept lettuce, kale, celery, and zucchini all fresher for much longer than usual. Also, each of the pockets is huge and holds a lot of food. My only advice is if you wash your lettuce in a colander before bagging, allow the produce to dry a bit before bagging OR use paper towels. the trash can where you keep them. I washed these pouches in the washing machine in cold water and they came out perfect and didn't smell at all like the food I was storing in them. Tupperware takes up a lot more room in our fridge, and you can pack it when you only have half a bag of groceries. I would definitely recommend them to anyone trying to use less plastic and want their food to last longer! Great buy at a great price!
