I have already tried 3 other products. All were difficult to use and I had to help my husband because I love them all very much. It has a unique system that makes it easy. The front is lined with paper, with a slit in the paper running from side to side. You take off one side and place the exposed part on your skin, then you take off the other side and place it on your skin. It has a top plastic backing on the non-adhesive side that peels off easily. I'm not sure if this is really necessary, but it can provide stability when applied. The foil is very thin. It's also very transparent. I swam with him and there were no problems. The only improvement that could be made would be if it had micro perforations for breathability and maybe the foil was a little less shiny. I use this to save myself from being bitten by bugs I got on my arm a few months ago and can't seem to let go. It's better than walking around with bandages all over the place because I like being sleeveless.
