I bought this for my beard. I think its value and benefits will increase as my beard grows longer. It heats up very quickly and reaches 380 degrees, which is perfect for the beard. The swivel cord makes it easy to use without getting tangled. I wish the heating teeth were either closer together or more on the brush head to make it more efficient with each pass through my beard. Since they are quite spread out, I have to do multiple passes before my whiskers start to straighten a few times. It doesn't work miracles, but for $30 I needed the messy curls and 'chin wave' characteristic of my beard. beard and smoothed it out so I could get the balm off properly (see my before and after photos). I'll keep using it and see how it holds up, but for now I'd definitely recommend it.
