Review on πŸ“ Garmin Suction Cup Mount: Reliable Support in Standard Packaging by Mark Morrow

Revainrating 5 out of 5

factory quality. Runs like clockwork

Mine works great. This is factory quality, like the original that is lost. * Sucker worthy. * The ball fits tightly into the mount. * The last two weeks was written on my windshield. When I took it off last night it came off with no problem and was right back up with good strong suction. Judging by other reviews it seems like a toss up whether you get a quality mount or not. I think it depends on the seller. Since Revain doesn't allow me to credit my seller (or their "sons") in a review, all I can say is be aware of the seller's return policy. It seems that if they have a decent policy, they are most likely the ones selling a quality product. My choice wasn't the cheapest, but the best return policy cost an extra 59 cents. I switched it to another car for the trip and it lasted the whole trip. Back to his own car, still holding. Can't say enough good things about this mount and the importance of where you buy it! Edit April 2013: Sat in the car overnight or some of our sub-freezing winter nights (suction cup, not the sat nav itself) and kept. The thing only works when I'm talking. Overall I am still very happy with the product. Edit April 2015: Well he finally died. I rented a Hyundai with a long windshield that was pretty good for a horizontal suction cup mount. Plus the weather hit the 80s. The added stress and heat caused the rubber mount to separate from the plastic and come loose. Disappointing but can't complain. Let's see if I can get it from the same seller.
