I got the bag mainly because I liked the outside pocket for the phone. Too bad there wasn't an outside pocket for the phone when it arrived. Had I known this I would have ordered another Kavu bag which I looked at. After 2 days of using the backpack, the material of the strap underneath came loose. She didn't return her purse because she had already thrown away the receipt and it's such a hassle. I attached the strap and still use the bag (love how functional it is for my lifestyle) but am disappointed that there is no side pocket as pictured.
