Actual finish is better than other brands I have used. In most cases, tons of lint will come out in the first few washes. There were many, but not as many as most. I also noticed that the stitching was good. Most of the time, the seams have come undone and the threads have unraveled, at least on some towels. After seeing all this, I thought I had finally found a quality hair towel. Then I was very disappointed with the actual use. They do not absorb water from the hair. I took a few home to try out the kitchen towels but they just smear water on the counter. I haven't found a good practical use for them yet. I'm sure it must be him. Just not the one that requires absorbency. Maybe good for a nail salon.
