It's not easy to find a stool with a top at the right height... it's a game of centimetres, and here every centimeter counts! A countertop stool like this was short at 23 inches to the top of the seat, while a bar stool was 30 inches tall. I wanted 26.5 to the top of the seat. I got 1" ribbons from Lowes and put them on each leg. no matter.These chairs are perfect and will not scratch hardwood floors.
