Review on Kids Snow Boots - OAKI Girls Boys' Shoes for Boots by Jose Mcdaniel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good boots

I bought these boots for my two children and so far they are holding up very well! They've been wearing them for a few weeks now, playing in the snow and trudging through the mud to school. There were no wet socks and feet are always warm when we come home. As for getting dressed and undressed, I was initially afraid it would be difficult for her as the boots won't come off. You just have to intervene. My children are 3 and 5 years old and have been able to get by on their own so far, without outside help. It's a good thing that the boots only require brute strength, which is much easier for a preschooler to master than real skill, for example with zippers or shoelaces. I find that zippers on children's shoes rarely work well because the two rails are constantly opening and pulling apart and the zippers are difficult to get up unless you either pull hard (and risk breaking them) or straighten the rails in front of you Unzip and have a friend hold them close together while buttoning them up with the other hand (too much coordination for a preschooler). So it's highly desirable not to play around with these boots!
