Crispy Vegetables. save me some money

I can't stand wasting money on vegetables all the time. It seems like you put them in the fridge and after 2 days they turned into a withered mush. It looks like this is the solution to the problem. While $19 might seem a little pricey for a cotton tote, toss a $4 red leaf lettuce a few times and you end up tossing that much money in the trash or mulch pile. If that doesn't convince you, knowing the bag is well made and the material is plush and quality can help. To use, simply wet the bag, bring veggies home, wash and fill. We bought a VejiBig bag and I'm glad I didn't go smaller and want more space. To give you an idea of what fits, I break out a head and a half of red leaf lettuce, a few packets of celery seeds, some cilantro, 2 or 3 medium heads of broccoli and it's stuffed. One thing I make sure to do is rotate veggies when I bring fresh ones home. I also run it under the sprayer on my faucet every few days to wet it. I don't pull out vegetables. This is enough to keep the bag moist. Seems to be working fine. I've only had it a few weeks and we usually use up veggies within a week. However, the cilantro has been in the bag for over 2 weeks and looks as fresh as the day I put it in. Everything I pull out is fresh and crispy. I love it. Two tips. Keep the bag moist and don't mix the vegetables where you might be disturbed by their flavor. I ate a piece of celery that tasted like cilantro. Actually not bad. :) However, I think I will buy a smaller VejiBag for herbs.
